GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers have announced the next class of inductees into the franchise’s hall of fame.
Six-time Pro Bowl selection as well as two-time All-Pro pass rusher Clay Matthews and former Pro Bowl defensive end Aaron Kampman will be officially inducted on Thursday, August 29th, at the Lambeau Field Atrium.
Clay Matthews is the franchise’s all-time sack leader and was voted one of the NFL’s Top 100 players seven times throughout his career. He also finished his career with 130 tackles for a loss and 17 forced fumbles.
Aaron Kampman finished career with 58 career sacks, including 15.5 sacks during the 2006 season. Kampman also finished with 11 forced fumbles and 66 tackles for a loss during his career.
The Packers inducted Matthew’s former teammates, Jordy Nelson and Josh Sitton, into the Hall of Fame earlier this year.
