LANGLADE COUNTY, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A collision has killed an Eagle River man.
Authorities received a call of a vehicle versus tree on Sundstein Road shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office.
The 34-year-old driver was speeding when he lost control and collided with a tree, with a section of it straddling the road.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries, and his name has not been disclosed.
The crash’s cause is being investigated.
