GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Bryan Bulaga, an offensive tackle and Super Bowl winner who was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft, announced on Thursday that he would be retiring as a Green Bay Packer.
According to Packers Wire, the Packers selected Bulaga with the 23rd overall choice in the 2010 draft. He went on to start 124 games for the Packers in all, starting one at right tackle in the team’s victory in Super Bowl XLV.
Bulaga was the starting right tackle for several of the most successful Packers offenses of the past ten years and played nearly 7,000 offensive snaps during his time with the team.
In 4,000 pass-blocking snaps, Bulaga gave up just 41 sacks, according to Pro Football Focus, during his time in Green Bay. Bulaga joined the Los Angeles Chargers after the 2019 season and made 11 starts with the team in 2020 and 2021.
Bulaga is scheduled to appear before the media on Friday in Green Bay.
