NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) –A pair of dynamic Major League Baseball players earned unanimous Most Valuable Player honors on Thursday night.
Angels’ two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani took home the American League award, while the Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr. captured the National League trophy.
Acuna became the first player to establish the “40-70” club after crushing 41 homers and stealing 73 bases last season.
The Brewers William Contreras finished 11th in the voting, while Devin Williams also received votes.
