RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) -One person is dead after a crash in Oneida County on Sunday.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 10:45 am at the intersection of County Highway K and US Highway 51. The victim has been identified as 76-year-old Robert D. Canfield of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
According to a press release, Canfield was making a left turn in front of a Semi-Truck when the semi crashed into his vehicle.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Canfield was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
