City leaders in Stevens Point will reveal a new Veteran’s Memorial on Monday.
The Memorial was made possible through a $90,000 donation from nine local sponsors. Organizers say it will be designed to honor all those who have served the United States or the local community in any capacity.
That includes any branch of the armed services in both war and peace times, first responders, and law enforcement.
The stone Memorial will be placed at Pfifner Pioneer Park at 12:00 PM, near the Chase Bank branch.
