GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – After the Green Bay Packers defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 23–20, Jordan Love ended the team’s 31-game run without a 300-yard passer.
According to the Packers Wire, before Sunday, when was the team’s previous 300-yard passing game? On December 12, 2021, Aaron Rodgers threw for 341 yards at Lambeau Field in a 45-30 win over the Bears. Between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the Packers were the only NFL team without a passer with 300 yards or more.
“There’s definitely a lot of learning,” Love said on Sunday. “Obviously, we’re a young offense. We’re building. And we’re just continuing to stack days. But, yeah, there’s so much learning that goes into it behind the scenes. Guys are continuing to work every day, continuing to grow and learn from every rep, mistakes, things like that that happen on the field, and store that information and learn and grow as players. I like the trajectory the offense is going right now for sure.”
Love found seven different receivers to create 20 yards or more, hit ten different receivers total, and completed 27 passes. He completed five passes for 20 yards or more, including Romeo Doubs’ game-winning 24-yard touchdown throw.

In the second half of Sunday’s game, Love went 12/17 for 167 yards with 2 TDs and a 141.1 passer rating.
Looking back, Rodgers had only 20 more passing yards than Love through 10 games in his first season as a starter, but Love has scored one more touchdown. The Packers also had a 5-5 record in 2008 and currently have a 4-6 record in 2023.
Additionally, Love has 2,331 yards, completed 203 of 340 passes (59.7%), has 16 touchdowns versus 10 interceptions, and has an 83.8 rating after 10 games. Through his first ten games of 2008, Rodgers completed 205 of 318 passes (64.5 percent), gaining 2,351 yards, 15 touchdowns against six interceptions, and a 94.5 rating.
