STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Stevens Point-based printing company has eliminated about 60 jobs.
Sheridan Worzalla says the positions are being cut to help streamline operations and move the company toward long-term stability. A representative of the company thanked the employees for their services, adding “our focus remains on adapting to market changes and ensuring we continue to provide the highest-quality products and services to our customers.”
It’s not clear which positions are being cut.
This comes just a few months after Worzalla was purchased by a Minnesota-based publisher who renamed the Stevens Point operations as Sheridan Worzalla. The company prints books, magazines, catalogs, and other commercial materials at locations across the United States including in Wisconsin.
The company also has locations in Madison and Rice Lake.
