WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – According to the GOP House Oversight Committee, beginning in 2018, Hunter Biden paid President Joe Biden directly each month through an account for his company that purportedly received funding from China.
The committee’s report states that bank records indicate that the company chose to pay President Biden $1,380 each month. Additionally, bank records that have been subpoenaed indicate that Owasco PC, the president’s son’s law firm that is also being investigated by the Department of Justice for tax-related matters, used a corporate account to transfer payments to Biden.
“President Joe Biden claimed there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his family’s influence-peddling scheme,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said in a video on Monday. “This was a lie.”

Between September and November 2018, at least three payments were made to Joe Biden’s personal account by his joint venture company with a Chinese government linked individual, according to sources who spoke with Fox News Digital.
It’s also alleged that Hunter Biden transferred at least $400,000 to his Owasco PC account. From there, the funds went to James Biden’s company account, which he then moved to a personal account shared with his wife, Sara Biden. Comer said that those funds were utilized to pay Joe Biden a $40,000 check marked “loan repayment.”
The committee stated last month that it discovered more than 20 shell corporations linked to the Biden family and learned how the Bidens and their partners profited over $24 million by positioning Joe Biden as “the brand” between 2015 and 2019.
