Wausau’s Capital Improvements and Street Maintenance Committee will get a year-end update on the plans to build a new public works facility on West Street.
Public Works Director Eric Lindman is scheduled to present the committee with an update on negotiations with the current landowner, which he says are still in progress. Following that update, the group will get an updated presentation from the design firm that’s working on the proposal.
The desire for a new facility for the public works department dates back several years but has picked up steam in recent months. CISM got their first look at proposed renderings for the site back in August.
Thursday’s meeting begins at 5:15 at City Hall.
