GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Before playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers have listed running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon as questionable to play on the final injury report.
According to the Packers Wire, Jones is trying to recover from an MCL injury. Since suffering the injury last month, he has missed three straight games.
“I’m feeling a lot better. I got to move around today at practice. Making great strides, so I’m going to take it day by day but I feel I’m confident for Sunday,” Jones said after practice on Thursday.
During the last drive of the New York Giants game on Monday night, A.J. Dillon broke his thumb and may not be ready to play on Sunday.
The Packers running game would consist of Patrick Taylor and veteran Kenyan Drake, who signed with the practice squad last week.
Other notable players who will likely be game-time decisions include cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes, linebacker Quay Walker, and rookie receiver Dontayvion Wicks.
