STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Police in Stevens Point have confirmed that Douglas Bredlau is now in custody.
He turned himself in to authorities shortly after 10 AM Tuesday. No further details were released.
Officers issued a be on the lookout for him on Monday, saying he should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Douglas Bredlau is wanted for multiple felony counts including stalking with the use of a dangerous weapon and making threats to injure another person. He’s also accused of pointing a firearm at another person and counts of disorderly conduct.
Officers say if you’ve seen Bredlau you should contact the Portage County Communications Center (715)346-1501 and speak with the on-call Shift Supervisor with the Stevens Point Police Department. Tips can also be submitted through Crimestoppers at (888)346-6600 or by using the P3 app.
There is no danger to the public. Officers add that all the accusations against Bredlau are related to specific incidents.
