RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) — Granite Peak Ski Resort will take the holiday off.
Due to the expected higher-than-normal temperatures, the resort will be closed on Sunday, December 24th, and Monday, December 25th. Officials say the move will allow their staff to spend time with family while allowing the snow to stay in good condition for post-Christmas skiing.

The announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon so those who like to spend time on the slopes with friends and family for Christmas can plan accordingly. The resort will re-open on Tuesday the 26th.
