Cheeks will join Northern Iowa standout and Phil Steele First-Team freshman All-American Jahsiah Galvan as Wisconsin’s likely starting linebackers in 2024 after former Badger Jordan Turner announced his commitment to Michigan State and Maema Njongmeta is likely heading to the NFL.
Wisconsin has now landed eight transfers through the portal this off-season, including star defenders such as William & Mary outside linebacker John Pius and Syracuse outside linebacker Leon Lowery.
