WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – A judge has determined that over 200 identities that had been censored from a long-settled sex trafficking lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice, will need to be released.
The Daily Mail reports that the 51-page order, which was issued on December 18, will reveal the identities of 184 John and Jane Doe associates of Epstein.
Many, including former President Bill Clinton, who’s expected to be listed over 50 times and has been identified as “Doe 36,” were already aware of the document through other channels, even though it is still a few days away from being formally unsealed, according to ABC News.
The order was granted by U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska, and many others, including other well-known public individuals like Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, and Hollywood celebs, may soon be revealed.
Virginia Giuffre, a former victim of Epstein, initially filed the defamation suit leading to this ruling and praised Judge Preska’s decision, saying, “Finally, we are hearing members of the US government senators about the need for transparency and a call to arms for accountability!! There’s going to be a lot of nervous people over Christmas and New Year’s, 170 to be exact. Who’s on the naughty list? This wouldn’t be possible without the Honorable Judge Preska.”
Giuffre has previously stated that she first met Clinton on “Little St. James,” Epstein’s private Caribbean island. According to ABC, Giuffre tried to summon him to appear in 2016 as part of her case; however, the motion was eventually denied, despite her lawyers categorizing Clinton’s proposed testimony as ‘very pertinent’ and “essential to the fundamental claims and defenses’ in the case.
Back in 2019, a spokesperson for former President Clinton addressed claims that he had a personal relationship with Jeffery Epstein, saying, “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago or those with which he has been recently charged in New York,” adding, “In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation… He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time, he made one brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail.”
