MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Jaheim Thomas, a former star linebacker at Arkansas, committed to Wisconsin on Thursday.
At 6-4 and 240 pounds, Thomas had 90 tackles this past season, which ranked fifth in the SEC, including 3.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss during his time with the Razorbacks in the fall, according to Badgers 247.
Before transferring this season to play at Arkansas, Thomas was a standout player under head coach Luke Fickell at Cincinnati was a four-star recruit out of high school and was ranked as one of Ohio’s top five players in 2022 by 247 Sports.
Thomas will join former North Carolina linebacker Sebastian Cheeks and former Northern Iowa linebacker Jahsiah Galvan as the Badgers continue to retool their linebacker unit after Jordan Turner left the program to transfer to Michigan State.
