MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The 21st ranked Wisconsin mens basketball team beat Nebraska 88-72 on Saturday at the Kohl Center.
Wisconsin shot 55% from the field and 13 of 26 from three point range.
Tyler Wahl had 17 points to lead Wisconsin. Chucky Hepburn had 13 , John Blackwell and Connor Essegian 12 and AJ Storr 10.
Wisconsin, now 10-3 and 3-0 in Big Ten will travel to Ohio State on Wednesday.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team dumped Illinois 67-61 on Sunday.Wisconsin was playing without D’Yanis Jiminez and Brooke Schramek who were out with injuries.
Serah Williams had 27 points and 17 rebounds and Ronnie Porter had a double-double as well with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Wisconsin, now 8-6, will host Northwestern on Wednesday.
The Badger mens hockey team got goals from six different players in a 7-4 win over Notre Dame on Saturday night.
Mathieu De St. Phalle had two goals for the Badgers. also scoring were William Whitelaw, Zach Schulz, Simon TAssy, Ben Dexheimer and Carson Bantle. David Silye had three assists.
Wisconsin, now 18-4, 10-2 in Big Ten, will host Lindenwood this Friday and Saturday.
The Badger womens hockey team completed a sweep of Merrimack with a 6-1 win on Saturday at LaBahn Arena.
Kirsten Simms had two goals for Bucky. The other goals went to Sarah Wozniewicz, Cassie Hall, Laney Potter and Britta Curl.
Ava McNaughton had 16 saves.
Wisconsin, now 16-4, will face St. Thomas this Saturday and Sunday.
