WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – As central Wisconsin braces for a winter storm that could bring 2 to 4 inches of snow to the area with wind gusts as high as 20-30 miles per hour, some cities have declared snow emergencies.
Cities that have declared emergencies include:
- Stevens Point- from Noon Friday to Noon Saturday
- Plover- from Noon Friday to 6 AM Saturday
- Wausau- from 3:00 PM Friday to 3:00 PM Saturday
- Mosinee- from 4:00 PM Friday to 6:00 PM Saturday
- Nekoosa- from 3:00 PM Friday to 6:00 PM Saturday
Any car left on the street will be subject to ticketing and towing during a snow emergency.
