GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – As the Green Bay Packers continue to rearrange their travel plans due to the winter storms across the Midwest, a couple of key players battling injuries may sit out of their playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, running back AJ Dillon is doubtful to play on Sunday due to a minor neck injury that was previously described as a “stinger.” He was unable to practice throughout the week, which put doubt on his availability to play against Dallas.
The Packers also listed wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (ankle) as questionable for Sunday. Head coach Matt LaFleur described Alexander’s injury as “freaky” after he rolled his ankle while jogging through Green Bay practice on Wednesday but was seen without a walking boot or crutches over the last two days.
Not on the injured list are wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who was hospitalized with a chest injury following the Packers victory over the Chicago Bears, and left guard Elgton Jenkins, who had missed practice earlier in the week.
