STATE COLLEGE, PA (WSAU) — The hot shooting Penn State Nittany Lions sent Wisconsin to their first Big Ten loss 87-83 on Tuesday night.
The Badgers turned the ball over 13 times in the loss. The Badgers rallied and took a 70-68 lead on a Max Klesmit three-pointer with 5:01 left but Penn State went on a 17-10 run to ice the victory.
Wisconsin was led by AJ Storr with 23 points. Steven Crowl had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Wisconsin, now 13-4, 5-1 in Big Ten, will host Indiana on Friday.
