MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Another big outing from AJ Storr lifted the Wisconsin men to an 81-66 win over Michigan State on Friday in Madison.
Storr scored 28 points on 9-17 shooting to lead all scorers easily. Steven Cowel added 15 points and seven rebounds, the only other Badgers in double-figures.
Connor Essegian added eight points off the bench. a trio of players scored six including starters Tyler Wahl and Max Klesmit.
Wisconsin shot 50.9% on the night including 36% (9-25) from three-point range. Michigan State went 42% from the field.
The win moves the Badgers to 16-4 overall and 8-1 in Big Ten play, a full game better than Purdue who sit at 7-2. The Boilers play at Rutgers on Sunday.
Wisconsin is off until Thursday, February 1st when they visit Nebraska in Lincoln. Pregame coverage on WSAU will begin at 7:30 PM, with tip-off at 8:30.
