PORTLAND, ORE (WSAU) –The Trail Blazers ruined Damian Lillard’s return to Portland with a 119-116 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Anfernee Simons hit a go-ahead floater with under 20 seconds left in regulation, and Jerami Grant hit a pair of free throws before the Blazers got a stop on Milwaukee’s last possession. Simons led Portland with 24 points while Deandre Ayton had 20.
Giannis led the Bucks with 27 points. Lillard finished with 25 points, seven assists and six rebounds. The 33-year-old spent the first 11 years of his career in Portland.
The Bucks, now 32-16, will play in Dallas on Saturday night.
