TOWN OF SHERRY, WI (WSAU) — An Auburndale man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the Wood County Town of Sherry on Friday.
First responders were called to an area of Highway N for a report of a vehicle that had driven off the roadway. Investigators determined that the driver failed to negotiate a curve, and then slammed into a tree.
The driver was dead at the scene. No other people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Officers have not identified the 41-year-old victim, his name is expected to be released later.
