WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau man is facing mandatory prison time after he was arrested on suspicion of an OWI on New Year’s Eve.
Timothy Mischock was arrested after officers pulled him over along Camp Phillips Road in Weston. According to police the 44-year-old was swerving, and wasn’t able to stand up straight when officers asked him to get out of the vehicle.
He initially refused a field sobriety test and breathalyzer but was taken to Marshfield Medical Center for a blood draw. The results of that test are pending.
In the meantime, he’s being held in the Marathon County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, with a Pretrial conference on Thursday.
Mischock has not entered a plea to the charges.
Court records show his previous convictions date back to 2014 when he was sentenced to six months in jail for his 5th OWI. His third and fourth charges came in 2007 and 2009. Both landed him in jail for 90 days along with a license revocation.
