WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau man accused of firing at a home during an argument has pled not guilty to multiple counts of recklessly endangering safety and gun-related charges.
Nicholas Multani was in court on Wednesday to enter the plea.
Police say the 18-year-old was part of an argument near a west-side home last summer. During the argument, he pulled a gun and fired a shot towards the home. No one was injured in the incident but investigators did find evidence of a shooting and immediately named Multani as a person of interest.
Multani was 17 at the time of the incident but turned 18 a few weeks later. Due to the nature of the charges, the case would have gone to adult court either way.
