CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) — A 46-point outing from Giannis Antetokounmpo lifted the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-97 win over Chicago at the United Center on Friday.
The Greek Freak added 16 rebounds and six assists while shooting 73% from the field (16/22). He also recorded one steal and one blocked shot.
Damian Lillard added 16 points and seven rebounds. Patrick Beverly scored 14 points from the bench. Bobby Portis just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.
All five starters for the Bulls scored at least 11 points led by Coby White who had 22. They managed just 20 points from their bench.
It’s the 5th straight win for the Bucks under new Head Coach Doc Rivers. They’re now 40-21 on the season and in a statistical tie with Cleveland for the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff chase. They’ll take the rest of the weekend off and face the LA Clippers, who are currently #4 in the West.
