MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team continues to struggle after dropping a 91-83 matchup with Illinois on Saturday at the Kohl Center.
Wisconsin native Marcus Domask had 31 to lead the Illini.
Tyler Wahl had 20 to lead the Badgers. Max Klesmit had 16. Chucky Hepburn 15 and AJ Storr 13.
Wisconsin will host Rutgers on Thursday.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team fell to Michigan State 78-52 on Sunday at the Kohl Center.
Serah Williams recorded her 15th straight double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
The Badgers, now 13-15, 6-12 in Big Ten, will play in the BIg Ten Tournament on Wednesday.
The Wisconsin mens hockey team bounced back from a Friday loss and topped Michigan State 4-1 on Saturday at the Kohl Center.
Sawyer Scholl and Carson Bantle had two goals each. Kyle McClellan had 28 saves.
The 4th ranked Badgers, now 25-9-2, 16-7-1 in Big Ten, will host Ohio State in a best-of-three quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament starting Friday
The Wisconsin womens hockey team got goals from seven different players in a 9-1 stomping of St. Thomas on Saturday night at LaBahn Arena.
Britta Curl and Casey O’Brien had two goals each. Also scoring were Lacey Eden, Anna Wilgren, Vivian Jungels, Laila Edwards and Katie Kotlowski.
Ava McNaughton had 13 saves.
The #2 ranked Badgers, advance to the WCHA Final Faceoff in Minneapolis on Friday.
