GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers were given three compensatory draft selections by the NFL on Friday in the 2024 NFL draft, all of which will come on Day 3.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the Packers received compensatory picks in the fifth round at No. 168, sixth round at No. 219, and seventh round at No. 255 for losing Robert Tonyan (Chicago Bears), Jarran Reed (Seattle Seahawks), Dean Lowry (Minnesota Vikings), and Allen Lazard (New York Jets) as qualifying free agents.
With 52 compensatory selections acquired since 1994, the Packers are third in the league, according to the NFL. The only teams with more throughout the years are the Dallas Cowboys (54) and Baltimore Ravens (56).
With five selections in the first three rounds and six more between rounds four and seven, the Packers will have a total of 11 picks during the draft.
