GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers running game will look much different in 2024 as they’re set to sign one of the league’s top running backs.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Packers have agreed to a deal with former All-Pro Las Vegas running back Josh Jacobs and have informed Aaron Jones that he will be released after earlier reports stated that the sides had agreed to a restructured deal.

Jacobs, 26, has a deal for four years worth $48 million and $12.5 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Jones, 29, was due to make $12 million in 2024 and will be an unrestricted free agent for the first time since being drafted by the Packers in the 5th round of the 2017 draft.
