GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers are looking to add veteran depth to their secondary this offseason and have scheduled their first visit with one of the market’s top available players at the position.
Pro Football Talk reports that former Jaguars safety Rayshawn Jenkins will visit three teams, including the Green Bay Packers. Jenkins, who was cut by Jacksonville, is also scheduled to visit the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Jenkins, 30, played in all of the Jaguars’ 17 games in the previous two seasons and he totaled five interceptions, 21 passes defensed, and at least 100 tackles in each season. Jenkins has also played at least 800 defensive snaps in five consecutive seasons.
