GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers are re-signing cornerback and kickoff return specialist Keisean Nixon to a three-year contract worth $18 million.
Nixon, 27, was a first-team All-Pro selection as a kickoff returner during the previous season while starting in the slot for the Packers. He also recorded 80 tackles, 1 INT, 6 passes defensed, and 3 tackles for loss, in 17 games played last season.
Nixon has been one of the most prolific returners in the league, totaling over 1,700 yards and one touchdown on 65 kickoff returns over the past two seasons. In 2022 and 2023, he led the NFL in kickoff return yards, and he recorded the longest kickoff return in NFL history with a 105-yard touchdown return.
