WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The reward for information leading to the location of missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue has been raised significantly.
The Two Rivers Police Department announced on Facebook that Vue has yet to be found, but the search is far from finished, and they are increasing the reward hoping it will lead to more tips.
The eligible reward has been increased to $40,000, according to the police department, thanks to additional monies obtained through donations. The FBI will also contribute $15,000, while Crime Stoppers will contribute $10,000.
On Monday, police combed local waterways and other rural areas for Vue and will continue to follow up on provided tips and leads. As the search continues this week, Captain Andrew Raatz requests that you call their tip line (844) 267-6648 if you have any information or leads.
