MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks will be without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo as they go on the road to face the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.
It will be Giannis’ second straight game missed due to a hamstring injury, as Antetokounmpo also missed Sunday’s win over the Phoenix Suns due to the same injury, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
With a season average of 30.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks while shooting a career-best 61.6 percent from the field, the Bucks big man is still a strong contender for MVP and the team remains hopeful he’ll be able to return to action tomorrow night when they come back home to face the Brooklyn Nets.
