Attention Voters: There will be two referendum questions on every ballot in Wisconsin on April 2, 2024.
I recommend a YES vote on both.
Here’s why:
Question 1. “…Private donations and grants may not be applied for, accepted, expended, or used in connection with conduct of any primary, election, or referendum.”
A YES vote will prevent outside individuals like Mark Zuckerburg from “dodging campaign finance laws” and donating “massive grants to liberal cities to help get out the vote” and work as election administrators. It will help prevent subversion of fair non-partisan elections.
Question 2. “…only election officials designated by law may perform tasks in the conduct of primaries, elections and referendums.”
A YES vote will prevent “democratic political operatives like CTCL’s Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein from usurping city clerks,” like what happened in the 2020 election in Green Bay, who gained “privileged access to absentee ballots and counting facilities.”
Help protect the integrity of Wisconsin elections. VOTE YES on both April 2nd Referendum questions. If this referendum is approved by the people, Wisconsin would join 27 other states in banning the use of private grants for election administration. VOTE YES twice to prevent the interference of bad actors in Wisconsin elections.
