TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s jobless rate in February rose to 2.6% from 2.4% in the previous month, government data showed on Friday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with economists’ median forecast of 2.4%.
The jobs-to-applicants ratio inched down to 1.26, from 1.27 in January, separate labour ministry data showed. The median forecast was for 1.27.
