MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers have lost one of their top in-state commitments to Big Ten rival Minnesota.
Torin Pettaway was a three-star recruit from Middleton, WI, and his decision to de-commit marks the second straight year that a top Wisconsin prospect that the Badgers were interested in has picked Minnesota after 2024 four-star offensive lineman Nathan Roy chose to commit to the Gophers in 2023.
Pettaway was the #70 defensive lineman in the nation, the sixth-best player in Wisconsin, and rated an “87” on the 247Sports scale.
