WAUSAU, Wis.(WAOW-WSAU)– Families had the chance to get out of the house and enjoy a pre-easter celebration on Saturday.
For the last three years, the Thrive Church in Wausau has been hosting the Eggstravaganza. It’s a way for families to have fun and honor the Easter holiday.
“Easter is a season of love and we get the opportunity to share it with our community,” said Sheldon Miles Pastor at Thrive Church.
The event had a range of activities such as face painting, a petting zoo, and an easter egg hunt that resulted in prizes.
The church is expected to have its scheduled Easter Sunday service at 10 A.M this morning.
