GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Packers may be looking to add some big names to their secondary receiver core.
According to an Instagram post from former Alabama star receiver Jermaine Burton and cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, the two draft prospects were in Green Bay on Monday for a private workout with the Packers.

This isn’t the first time the Packers have shown extensive interest in both of these players, as the team spent extensive time with McKinstry and Burton during Alabama’s pro day in March.
Many NFL insiders note that there is a strong chance Cooper DeJean will be selected before the Packers pick at 25, which would make McKinstry the next best option for Green Bay to add some possible star power to their secondary. As for Burton, looking past his off-the-field concerns, he would make a lot of sense for the Packers at pick 58 if they don’t intend to keep Christian Watson around after next season and could provide Love with a solid deep throw option for years to come.
