MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers’ first opponent for the 2028 football season has been announced, as the University of Marshall Thundering Herd will travel to Camp Randell Stadium.
According to a post on X by the university, the game will be held on September 2nd, 2028, which will be just the second time in NCAA history that the two football programs have faced off, as the Badgers won the only meeting back in 2008, 51-14.
The Badgers will also be at home for week 3 of the 2028 season to host the University of Utah Utes on September 16th.
