GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Tuesday marks day two of the Green Bay Packers offseason training program, with all of the Packers voluntarily showing up to work out and get to know their new teammates.
This is the Packers’ first time back in Green Bay since January, and veterans like pass rusher Preston Smith who spoke to the Packers Wire says this upcoming season has different expectations. “We’ve got to have a championship offseason, so everything rolls into the season because, at the end of the day, those games come back to following your training, trusting your technique, and trusting everything you worked hard for this offseason. Coming into this season, we’ve got to focus on the things that we can improve on, make sure that our weaknesses are our strengths, and we improve on the things we’re good at.”
Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins felt a similar way to Smith, saying this offseason they know where they want to go in 2024, “To take it all the way. Most definitely. Get better as an offense, trust in the process, and get better individually so that collectively, we can be better and take it all the way.”
