MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks and their fans are hoping for good news over the next 48 hours as superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to work toward returning to the court for a pivotal Game 3 matchup against the Indiana Pacers.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Giannis “is progressing in his recovery from a calf injury, doing some ballhandling drills and stationary jump shooting.” Charania also stated that the injury would require Antetokounmpo to heal for two to four weeks from when he was injured on April 9th.
Antetokounmpo missed the final three games of the regular season after he led the Bucks with 30.4 points and 11.5 points per game while collecting his eighth consecutive All-Star nomination.
