MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers are preparing to call up one of their top five prospects as they look to fill spots in their starting rotation due to ace Freddy Peralta serving a suspension and Wade Miley on the IL due to a UCL injury.
According to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers will be calling up left-handed pitcher Robert Gasser to make his first career MLB start on Friday after Milwaukee acquired him in 2022 in the deal that sent all-star closer Josh Hader to San Diego.
