UNITY, WI (WSAU) — National Weather Service officials have confirmed a pair of tornado touchdowns associated with Tuesday’s storms.
WAOW TV reports that preliminary investigations show one of the twisters touched down in Unity, and the other was northwest of Edgar.
The touchdown near Edgar has been rated as an EF-1 with wind speeds at 90 MPH. It came down near Wuertzburg Road. Damage from that storm included one collapsed barn and downed trees and branches.
