ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU) — For a second consecutive week the threat of storms has moved the Wednesday night Concert on the Square out of downtown Wausau.
The Hucksters will take the stage inside The Cabin, a new music and live event venue inside the Bantr Hotel Rothschild at 805 Creske Avenue.
“We’re excited to be able to continue the 2024 concert series, even if it means holding another concert indoors”, says Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director for Wausau Events. “Bantr is a great partner of ours and we’re excited to be able to utilize their venue for tonight’s event.”
Aderholdt adds that the decision was made after consulting with local meteorologists.
Doors will open at 5 PM and all attendees will receive a wristband upon entrance to track capacity. No alcoholic drink carry-ins will be allowed but Bantr will have its bar open. Chairs and food carry-ins will be allowed, as well as non-alcoholic beverages in clear containers.
No other carry-ins will be permitted, including tables, large coolers, or other items. All bags will be subject to inspection upon entry.
The Cabin was selected as an alternate venue due to a previously scheduled event at the Rothschild Pavillion, which hosted last week’s concert.
