TOWN OF BRIGHTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A barn is a total loss after a fire Friday morning near Spencer in the Town of Brighton.
According to fire crews on scene, the call came in around 11:00 a.m. When crews arrived the barn was engulfed in flames with smoke visible from a distance away.
The fire chief stated the family is currently out-of-state, but the barn is a total loss and several vehicles were damaged.
At this time, fire officials are unsure if any animals were injured in the fire.
According to a Facebook post by the Spencer department, one dog was rescued.
The cause of the fire isn’t known.
