GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Packers and NFL fans heading to Titletown to see who their team selects in the 2025 NFL draft will need to be prepared to pay extra to stay in the city as Airbnb prices for the week continue to soar.
According to Jeff Bollier of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, almost every Green Bay area hotel room is already booked for the week of the draft, and a three-bedroom home across Lombardi Avenue from Lambeau Field known as “Ron Wolf’s Hall of Fame Clubhouse” is going for $17,900 per night, and fewer than 50 Green Bay-area Airbnb listings are currently going for less than $1,000 per night.
“We want to achieve something that’s really amazing on behalf of a lot of stakeholders: ourselves, our business partners, our friends, our families, and our not-for-profit partners,” Ron Wolf’s Hall of Fame Clubhouse owner Paul Belschner told the outlet. “We’ve had fruitful discussions about how to achieve the highest and best impact that we can with this once-in-a-lifetime event.”
Bollier looked at dozens of properties listed on Airbnb and VRBO that are within walking distance of Lambeau Field, with most units in the area costing between $1,800 and $20,000 per night, or $12,600 to $140,000 for a draft week. However, he notes that fans can find some relief by staying in apartments outside of the area in De Pere or Ashwaubenon for prices that range from $291 a night to $750 a night.
Neighboring cities across Wisconsin, such as Appleton, Wausau, Stevens Point, and Shawano, are expected to see travelers visit and stay in their hotels and visit their local businesses during the week, which could lead to the state as a whole seeing major economic impacts after recent hosting cities, such as Kansas City, saw a total of $164.3 million in revenue generated from the week of the 2023 NFL draft.
