ANAHEIM, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers built a 6-0 lead and held off the Los Angeles Angels for a 6-3 win on Tuesday night at California.
Tobias Meyers tossed 6 1/3 innings of shutout ball allowing four hits with six Ks and 2 walks to pick up the win. The Brewers bullpen struggled but Trevor Megill picked up 14th save.
Sal Frelick robbed the Angels of a home run to end the game.
Jackson Chourio had three RBIs for the Brewers. Milwaukee also got a solo homer from Christian Yelich, his 7th of the season.
The Brewers, now 43-30, face the Angels again tonight…pre game show at 8pm on WSAU.
