GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Beginning on Wednesday, the Green Bay region will host a five-day tour featuring the Budweiser Clydesdales, which includes delivering beer on Friday along Holmgren Way in Ashwaubenon.
Their appearances are being held with the nonprofit Folds of Honor, which offers educational scholarships to the families of deceased or injured U.S. service members and first responders. The tour’s first stop will be Wednesday at 5:30 in the Green Bay Botanical Garden.
Fans or people looking to offer support can see the Clydesdales at the Festival Foods-Suamico, 2348 Lineville Rd., at 4 p.m., and beer deliveries will be made to the Resch Center, D2 Sports Bar, Anduzzi’s Sports Bar, The Bar-Holmgren Way, and Green Bay Rockers (Capital Credit Union Park) on Friday starting at 5 p.m.
Over the weekend, people can also support the cause and see the Clydesdales on Saturday at the Pearly Gates Veterans Benefit and Folds of Honor scholarship check presentation, hosted at the Pearly Gates Bar, 3551 Finger Rd., at 2 p.m. and on Sunday at the One Horse Show at Howards Common Activity Complex, 550 Commons Place, at 1 p.m.
