According to his agency, SportsTrust Advisors, which announced the deal on X, Quintez Cephus, 26, is back in the NFL and has signed his second contract off the season with the Houston Texans just before training camp is scheduled to begin, hoping to make their 53-man roster after being released by the Buffalo Bills this spring.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Still, Cephus, a fifth-round selection by the Detroit Lions in 2020, will get an opportunity to earn back his playmaker reputation after a strong rookie season that included 20 catches for 349 yards and two touchdowns during the 2020 season.
