RINGLE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 63-year-old man died in a crash on Highway 29 in Marathon County on Thursday.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office received a call just after 11 a.m. that there was a crash near the intersection of State Highway 29 and Silk Road in the Town of Ringle.
The crash involved a semi-tractor trailer and shut down both lanes of traffic on Highway 29 westbound for several hours.
The release also said that Marathon County’s Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
The identity of the 63-year-old man who was killed because of the crash is being withheld pending notification of family. No other injuries were reported.
